Come and join in the fun and run, jog or walk our brand new 5k course at James Regional Park and afterwards enjoy a range of delicious tasty treats created by some of the best chefs in our city or from food trucks and entertainment from nightclub DJs and a wide range of vendors!

About the Run
The Las Vegas Great Chef Run 5K was developed and launched in 2022 as our major annual fundraiser for the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization aligned with the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association.
A Great Cause
Proceeds from the Great Chef Run 5K benefit scholarship grants for hospitality educational advancement and career enrichment certification and training programs. Scholarships are available to NHLA members and their immediate family members.
Over $50,000 Awarded
Approximately $50,000 has been awarded in scholarships the past two years. Many of the recipients are attending UNLV while others attend hospitality and tourism career organizations such as The International School of Hospitality.
Award of Excellence
Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association won the national Award of Excellence in the category of Events and Fundraising for our foundation’s Great Chef Run 5k event from the International Society of Hotel Associations (ISHA). Awards submissions are received from many different states for various related programs for consideration by the prominent ISHA organization.
